Meet The Therapist
Hi there! I’m Tierra Terrell, a licensed couples therapist in San Diego, CA, with training in the Gottman Method and extensive experience with LGBTQ+ and non-traditional relationship dynamics. I‘m here to create a safe, authentic, and nonjudgmental space where you can learn how to successfully communicate what you want (and get it!)
My Qualifications
I hold a Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and have trained extensively in the Gottman Method, which has been shown to help couples from many backgrounds meet their relationship goals. After working with hundreds of couples, I believe this tried-and-true method has something to offer everyone!
My Approach
I believe in a collaborative approach where we work together at your pace. I bring humor & compassion to my practice because I want our sessions to feel comfortable and welcoming, yet meaningful. Although I know difficult topics always come up, I try to make therapy as enjoyable as possible for my clients.
